Wapella Continues Building

Wapella continues to lead Central Illinois in it's provision of public services, architectural innovations, and all around good nature with the building of a new township shed. These fine photos from one of Wapella's finest Civic Leaders, David Taylor.

Like two chops from different sides of the grill, very rare and well done Hog City!

At least we can say we have a nice new building why our roads go to hell. Keep up the good work.

There used to be a big yellow building, and a green one at the south end of Wapella on Rt51... is it still there? I havn't been through that area in many years.

If that is Rodden Johnson (green one) and Goodyear (yellow one) you are talking about the current home of Schmid's Lift Trucks.

Look forward to full feature on the Schmid Brother's equipment empires on Wapella.com.

Two questions:

1) What building will house the now infamous TWEED FILM FESTIVAL?

2) Is DT's official title now "civic leader?"

I just stumbled upon Wapella.com, I love the info and the banter. Looking forward to seeing the bio on Schmid Bros. I'm glad to see that my former property (R-J,Inc) is being put to good use. Viva Wapella!!
