The Portal of St. Patrick's
The portal at St. Patrick's in Wapella looks really good. Gives the impression you are entering the Heavenly City, which sticks with you as you are in Wapella, the greatest place on Earth.

Is Wapella a New York Giant Town?
Got this article from Lawrence Hedrick, which is one of the most interesting things I have read about Wapella Baseball in a long time. Hall of Fame Pitcher for the New York Giants, Carl Hubbell's parents lived in Wapella, and the baseball field was named Hubbell Field. Lawrence is Carl's second cousin.
Carl Hubbell New York Giants (1928–1943)
Win–loss record 253–154
Earned run average 2.98
Strikeouts. 1,677
World Series Champion 1933
Hat Tip to Francis Powers for bringing this up a year or so ago.
