Age not known........The body of Captain Orr was disinterred and sent to America 25th Jan 1870"

Mr. Griffin, you raise many excellent point, whoever you are quoting. However, trying to get three people to agree to anything means that there are no roads, no water treatment plants or any infrastructure.

Minorities have been picked on since before the Old Testament. Be a shudra for a day in India. They've had plenty of practice.

Government does give and take. It takes because there are too many slackers. We all live with that. It is baked in to the equation.

There has to be a rule of law. The Articles of the Confederation didn't work.

Mind you, I don't disagree with your manifesto (whoever you are quoting) and it is a noble creed, but Marx and Freud rule the day.

By the way, John L Lewis had some fab eyebrows.

As always, the end result of all these bailouts will be the Hidden Tax called Inflation.

I met a man in a pub in Dublin the other day. He was from Texas. He stood me a pint.

He told me about his ranch. He said that it took him an entire day to drive across his ranch.

I told him that I once had a car that ran like that.

Duhon and Boudreaux were having a chat. Duhon told Boudreaux that he had a fire and that he was paid $5,000 or $4,000.

Boudreaux said that he had a flood and that he was paid $13,000 or $12,000.

Duhon scratched his head and said, "Cher, how do you start a flood"?

Dear Griffin,

We appreciate your wisdom. We'd like to see you ask for consensus from the rest of us mythical creature before going out on a limb.

Friends,

As a denizen of Wapella I am hurt that I was left out of any and all mythical creature discussions. I believe my tenure (see The Pantagraph) gives me a voice in any discussions of economics and other salient social issues.

By the way, can someone abandon their home so I can sleep inside?

Discrimination.

No mythical creature has suffered more than we trolls. No, we don't wear bones in our hair. We never got a dollar from the commercial exploitation of the 70s and 80s. We took our settlement money from the Twin Cities, remember we live under bridges, and got into hedge funds. You know the rest.

By the way, we don't eat Billy Goats any more, the Latins get them first.

If only we could get the Jekyll Island guys to leave America, then maybe we could get back on track.

HOORAY!

It is nice to see the Free Exchange of Ideas and Smart Alec remarks back on Wapella.com.

Eventually though, Someone is bound to misinterpret remarks like the Latins eating billygoats and all hell will break loose.

But lets not worry about that for now and let the Free Market of Ideas Flourish!

A lot of bright people have walked through the halls of WHS, so lets hear from them.

What does EEP think of the band KaiserCartel?

Anonymous said...

So...Griffin's initial comments were pulled? Makes reading clever jabs re: mythical beasts a little jarring without any context....

--------------------------------

Never heard KaiserCartel, but they have been compared to Gram Parsons, so they can't be all bad.

Britain's Kaiser Chiefs are OK, though. Catchy pop.

EEP's recent playlist:

Oasis - Dig Out Your Soul
Pegboy - Strong Reaction
The Lemonheads - Hate Your Friends
Dr. Feelgood - BBC Sessions 73-78
The Fix - At the Speed of Twisted Thought
Badfinger - Straight Up
The Replacements - Let It Be
Husker Du - Zen Arcade
Naked Raygun - Understand?

Thanks EEP you are the best.
Appreciate your playlist also.

Look a little deeper into the KaiserCartel and you will find a direct connection to Wapella.

Great playlist eep.
Never heard of kaisercartel

Griffin's initial comments must have been vulgar in order to get removed.

Don't anybody tell, until after The Mod puts up a YouTube Video of KaiserCartel.

Dear Readers,

We trolls did not mean to slight any of our Latin brothers and sisters. The comment was directed at your cultural predisposition and liking for goats and was not meant as an affront.

We are working hard to get our Latin American troll brothers and sisters wokrking with us.
