Take me Home: Quiz Continues

I spent an hour last night trying to find a good answer to the below quiz, and it is still a real puzzler. Down in southeastern Illinois by Lawrenceville and Old Shawneetown, there are some reasonably sized cities along small roads, but these small roads are actually state highways.

As it stands the best answer is Loami from Reynoldz21, at population 804, but the quiz continues its devious spell on the residents of Wapella, to the ear-pleasing tune of John Denver, singing "Country Roads".

Mrs. Coleman had us listen to John Denver's Sunshine on my Shoulder to get us in ready to draw in grade school. bbd

Yes, bbd...that would be "Sunny Coleman." Wow. That's a name from the past that I haven't thought of in quite awhile.

West Salem, Illinois Population: 947

Hmm ATD..

But what about Illinois Highway 11, which is Lancaster Rd in West Salem.

I will say no, but I could be wrong.

Is RT 11 a State Highway through Salem?

Least entertaining quiz on any blog, ever.

Wapella.com also appears to be in a deep recession.

RTD thinks it is a County Road. He says we should all go down there, tour Bone Gap, IL Population:257 and then investigate West Salem Roads. Maybe we can have a picnic.

I think you are on to something AT-D.

I tend to agree with EEP on this one. Recession has definitely hit this site.
