Lady Wildcats Trek To Heyworth
Some intrepid Lady Wildcats make the happy journey to the Heyworth American Legion the other night, and recorded their visit with one of those new fangled digital cameras via Lady Wildcat Diane Green.
As always, the Heyworth American Legion serves up some real Hornet Hospitality to Wapella visitors.
A good time was had by all and no injuries were reported as of press time.

Is Julia drinking Milwaukee's Best Light? bbd
Worse than the MBL, is that fruit? I didn't think any food that couldn't be fried was allowed in the Legion Hall.

Diane Greene left Wapella when she was in grade school. She graduated from California and is not a Wildcat.
I'm getting worried about this swine flu issue? How has it affected Wapella? Does wapella.com offer any swine flu advice or home remedies?

For those of us who have been gone for several years, me since 1964, how bout putting names to faces? I recognize a few, but would love to know everyone's name.
Per a ruling of the Wapella Board of Historians, anyone who ever attended Wapella Schools is a native Wildcat, without question as to their future residence.
Diane Greene in every way exemplifies the Wildcat spirit and would be honored even if she was not in attendance at Wapella Community schools, but, per the Board, she certainly is a Wildcat.
Concur, without an opinion, on the Diane Greene ruling. She is more worthy than some longer-tenured folks.
Good breeding counts.

My oh my, didn't know there was someone out there that knew so much about me. For the record, I went to Wapella Grade School up to the 4th Grade. My family moved to California in 1964. I always told my dad that I would move back to Wapella once I graduated...which I did in 1972. Although I live in Heyworth today I still consider myself a Wapella-ite ! Just telling someone that this morning...my heart will always be with Wapella....YEAH WAPELLA !
WHO'S WHO: PEGGY LAMONT, TAMMY COLLIVER DONER,JULIA POWERS,BRENDA COLLIVER UNDERWOOD, LINDA REYNOLDS WHITACRE,ETTA DUNCAN WHITTED,KAREN LEDBETTER, NANCY DUNCAN WHITTEN, CHERYL REYNOLDS, CINDY SHOEMAKER WHITE AND BONNIE SCHMID.
As the Czechoslovakian playboys used to say (aka Steve Martin and Dan Ackroyd) - fabulous American foxes!!!
No Matt Powers, I was not drinking MBL that night, only H20. And yes, I did bring a beautiful fruit platter to share w/ my former classmates. Got to stay healthy:)
