As an extra treat on St. Patrick's Day, I was sent this video of a relatively healthy looking Shane MacGowan fronting the legendary Pogues, and singing the classic Irish ditty "The Irish Rover" with hall-of-fame-ers The Dubliners. Shane looks like he's drank in The Circle a time or two.....enjoy.

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP)—Jacob Pullen scored seven of his career-high 32 points in overtime as Kansas State outlasted Illinois State 83-79 Wednesday night in the first round of the NIT.
Darren Kent added 19 points for the Wildcats (22-11). Dominique Sutton finished with nine points and 12 rebounds, including an offensive grab he put back to tie the game at 73 with four seconds remaining and force the overtime.
Champ Oguchi led Illinois State (24-10) with 23 points but fouled out midway through the overtime with the Redbirds trailing 77-76.
Kansas State seized control of the game in overtime, with a layup by Pullen putting the Wildcats ahead for good at 80-79 with 14 seconds left.
Neither team could establish a lead until a 10-2 Kansas State run gave the Wildcats a 27-20 advantage in the opening period. But a basket by Illinois State’s Osiris Eldridge with 5:59 left sparked a 12-4 run to close out the half. The Redbirds held Kansas State to one field goal in the final 6:11 and led 32-31 at the break.
Too easy: next.

In my Pogues thread? Really? Damn.
What about the Dropkick Murphys"?
Flann O'Brien
Shane looks like he just got a haircut at Darwin Volker's using the Vacuum Clippers.
Pretty sharp.
How does a team with a 24-8 record and a win against the overall #1seed end up with a 12 seed?
The Illini should not have to play this good of a team in the first round!
Make that 25-8 skippy.
Fair is fair. The Illini stunk. They should not have been a 5 seed. Time for Bruce to go.
A disgruntled Illini fan

I agree. A #5 seed was WAY high for Illinois, as evidenced by their poor showing in this contest, and several other games late in the season.
They should hire jankyadivck from isu.
No, 12 is way to low for WKU.
They beat the #1 team in the nation for bunny sake!
Utah State deserved a higher seed also.
Marquette got lucky.
It may be time to expand the tournament.
The proof is in the Pitt score.
