Wapella.com begins Advertising Program
At the suggestion of many of our loyal readers, Wapella.com has begun to accept advertising for local businesses as a way to offset costs of our editorial and publishing operation.
Our first advertiser is Virgil "VA" Goodlick of Wapella. Virgil does General Tractor and Automobile Repairing, Welding and Machine Work in his Wapella garage. His prices are reasonable and he is very knowledgeable about his profession.
Please patronize this and every other Wapella Business!

So where is the ad?
VA was the best. A very good welder
Also a very good gunsmith. Best tractor man around. Ask Jim Hull. Won the tractor pull at Wapella. Out pull a 4010 John deer. Very BIG upset for john deer. He was a good man and on the village board. He is miss by all.
What ever happened to his son,Artie. He graduated WHS.
Art was around LeRoy, I think? He and daughter Robin? Nice folks.
Trivia: Art once *did* mistakenly claim that I threatened to "clean his plow" out at party out at John and Denise Torbert's. I may have been yelling at the tapper, but certainly not at Art, and am wondering if the threat "clean your plow" has been heard in Wapella or Clinton since?
eep, were you thinking of Bob?
IRBW
clean your plow was classic.
I think you're right, IRBW, it was Bob. My bad.
Bob and Robin were good folks, regardless.
I think the Goodlick family from Wapella are related to the ones around LeRoy/Bellflower.
