May she rest in peace.

Where does Ab(sp?)Bray fit into this family tree?
I believe that Albert was a first cousin to this brood's father, Millard "Jack" Bray.

While we are on the subject, how are Vee
Welch and Glendel Bray tied to the tribe?
Thanks for the info BEP. I knew several of the ladies, Mandy the best, all were real sweethearts.
Merle was the only one of the men I knew, he was very kind. You are all privileged to be related to them.

I'll second that!
Mary Cynthia and Jack Bray's children were all kind and generous. I remember our great-aunts very well; they all told us that we were "beautiful children" even when I was as ugly as a post. If you went to their home they killed the fatted calf and made you feel like you were queen/king for the day. Aunt Mandy introduced me to cream soda.
Consider that my great-grandfather died in one of influenza epidemics and that my great-grandmother raised her children by herself. Somewhat daunting. "Ma", as she was known, rejoined the Roman Church at the end of her life. I don't think she ever left, but she did it by the numbers.
Huge kudos to Jack and Mary Cynthia, their children, grandchildren and my generation, the great-grandchildren.
Pax,
BEP
